About The Role
In this role, you’ll support the UK Head of Sales in driving sales, events, and bookings across BrewDog’s Scotland bar estate.
You’ll be part of an experienced sales and events team, working out of Edinburgh and will work closely with other Sales Executives, bar teams and marketing to convert incoming enquiries, deliver outstanding events and create culturally relevant experiences that drive people into our bars.
A key part of the role will be managing incoming event and booking enquiries, building rapport with each guest to understand their requirements, creating bespoke packages and proposals, upselling relevant experiences and maximising revenue opportunities. You’ll also be responsible for collecting payments and pre-orders on time, identifying any special requirements and ensuring these are clearly communicated on every booking.
Events & Experiences
The role will have a strong focus on developing and supporting culturally relevant consumer eventsthat give people a reason to visit BrewDog bars.
You’ll help identify opportunities around key cultural moments, entertainment, sport, music and emerging trends, turning these into exciting events and experiences that drive awareness, footfall, bookings and revenue.
You’ll work closely with the wider marketing, sales and bar teams to bring these events to life, from initial idea and planning through to execution and post-event review. This will include supporting event concepts, coordinating operational requirements, building event plans, and ensuring every event delivers an excellent guest experience.
You’ll also take ownership of the organisation of large upcoming events, completing detailed handovers and liaising with kitchen, front of house and operational teams where required.
Proactive Sales
There is a proactive element to the Sales & Events Executive position, which will include reaching out to previous large events and upselling to auto-confirmed bookings, identifying new sales opportunities, and supporting the team to grow pre-booked revenue.
You’ll also look for opportunities to convert event guests into repeat customers, build relationships with key customers, and maximise the commercial potential of events across the portfolio.

About You
Experience
- Experience in sales, event coordination, event marketing or a related role within the hospitality, entertainment, or leisure industry.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing event logistics.
- Experience planning or delivering consumer-facing events and experiences.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities to increase bookings, revenue, and footfall.
- Experience working cross-functionally with operational, marketing and hospitality teams.
Sales & Customer Service
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confident selling packages, experiences, and upselling additional products.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and understand different customer needs.
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple enquiries, bookings and events simultaneously.
Events & Culture
- Passionate about events, entertainment, sport, music, culture and what gets people talking.
- Naturally curious and able to spot opportunities to create relevant, exciting consumer experiences.
- Able to turn an idea into a commercially viable event that drives people into BrewDog bars.
- Comfortable managing event timelines, suppliers, operational requirements, and last-minute changes.
- Confident troubleshooting and making decisions on the day of an event.
Health & Safety
- Understanding of health and safety regulations related to events, including capacity management and fire safety.
- Experience with risk assessments and event safety procedures.
- Ability to ensure events are delivered safely and in line with BrewDog policies and legal requirements.
Training
- Sales and customer service training, including CRM, relationship management and upselling.
- Event planning and execution training, including event logistics, timelines and on-the-day troubleshooting.
- Risk assessment, fire safety and capacity management training.
