Contract Catering Sales Executive - Out of Home Sales / Foodservice
Hello. We are Brew Tea Co, and we make proper tea using 100% rolled whole leaves, not the dusty stuff most people are used to. Once people try it properly, they do not tend to go back.
We already work with some of the biggest names in Contract Catering, and now we want to give that channel some proper love.
Most of our tea is sold directly to Drinkers online, and we have built a proper following there. You will also find us on the shelves of some of the best retailers in the country, including Ocado and Waitrose, and served across cafes, offices and museums up and down the land, plus we’ve just started expanding internationally too. Everything is sourced and packed at our own tea factory at Tea HQ in Manchester. It’s a great time to join.
What's the role?
Contract Catering covers some of the best places going: high end blue chip offices, brilliant co-working spaces, major cultural attractions and museums, and some of the biggest sporting and social events on the calendar.
These are big, fascinating places, full of decision makers and Drinkers who deserve a genuinely great cup of tea. We already work with some of the biggest names in the business, and we want to give this channel proper attention. That is where you come in.
The role splits into two real strands.
First, get us into the places we are not in yet. A new blue chip office, a co-working space that has never heard of us, the cultural attraction still serving a forgettable brown teabag, the sporting event about to pour thousands of cups of something nobody will remember.
Second, account management and development. Every site serving our tea needs our attention, whether that relationship started five years ago, last year, or begins with you. This means working closely with these sites, finding new service points, running innovative activations, and training teams to brew tea properly. It matters just as much as winning something new.
Across both strands, this role rewards someone who loves a list, loves to talk and goes looking for the next opportunity whilst staying close to the ones already in motion. There is no time to waste.
Contract Catering gives us direct access to some of the most influential venues and events in the country. Get this right, and it changes how an entire channel thinks about tea, not just how much of it gets sold.

Who are we looking for?
You do not need to have worked in tea before, but you do need a real passion for food and drink, one that comes through the moment you start talking. Buyers buy into passion for the product as much as the pitch itself. You love tea. Of course.
You have a properly inquisitive mind and you are a real people person, comfortable working out how big organisations function and building relationships quickly. You thrive in the organised chaos of a small business doing things differently, and you are happiest when busy: talking, selling, tasting, planning, following up.
Beyond that, we look for the same four things we look for across all of Tea HQ. You are a Radiator , bringing your own energy rather than waiting for someone else to set the tone. You are a Tea Lover , curious about how people drink tea and keen to help them drink it better. You are a Scientist and an Artist , passionately talking about tea, whilst simultaneously managing the details of your sales pipeline and your account list. Last, but by no means least, you get things done. Rolling up your sleeves as needed to do what is required in the moment - a Grafter .
What's in it for you?
Salary depends on experience, and we are genuinely open to different levels of experience for the right person. On top of salary, there is monthly sales commission and a best month bonus, good months get rewarded straight away, not just at the end of the year.
You’ll get complementary tea, 28 days holiday to start with, and our traditional closure over Christmas and New Year.
