Sage Appliances is a fast-growing, innovation-led consumer products company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), with an expanding global footprint across premium kitchen and home appliances. The FP&A Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the Group's continued growth in the UK and EMEA region.
The FP&A Manager will oversee core financial planning and analysis activities across the business, including budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting, and margin and sales analysis. The role will drive performance visibility and operational insight through robust financial modelling, coaching, agility, automation, and business partnering.
Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Manage forecast and budget processes, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
- Oversee month-end close reporting, identifying key drivers and variances.
- Conduct margin and sales analysis, highlighting performance trends and opportunities.
- Manage accruals and ensure financial integrity of reported results.
- Deliver promotional forecasting visibility for leadership decision-making.
- Prepare and present insightful management reports with commentary and recommendations.
- Build and maintain dynamic Excel financial models and dashboards.
- Champion automation and process improvement, leveraging tools such as Power BI, Claude, or OpenAI-based automation.
- Partner cross-functionally with commercial, operations, and sales teams to support financial decision-making.
- Lead, coach, and develop junior FP&A team members.
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualified experience in FP&A, financial reporting, or commercial finance.
- Proven ability to manage month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability, with high attention to detail.
- Experience with tools and emerging technologies (e.g. Power BI, Claude, or OpenAI).
- Strong commercial understanding of margin, sales, and cost analysis.
- Excellent business partnering and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and develop small teams.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and deliver under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
- Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience developing team members.
- Strong integrity, accountability, and collaboration skills.
