An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Manager in our friendly family GP Practice. The partners are looking for an exceptional leader with strong business management skills, particularly in strategic management, managing staff, human resources (HR), project management, public relations, financial planning and budgeting. Be innovative and resourceful, focusing on growth and future proofing. Opportunities for part-time working would be considered.
Main duties of the job include recruiting a senior manager with the vision and enthusiasm to successfully lead the team through the current NHS challenges and changes. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to support and develop our team through proactive leadership and effective management to ensure the smooth running of the practice. The successful candidate will need to work collaboratively with the partners and the management team, both as a group and individually, to develop and implement strategies.
About us: Bretton Park Healthcare consists of two practices that work together. This was a new adventure for both sites from January 2022. We are a dynamic, motivated, and friendly team with a passion for education and development. We are a registered training practice and are actively involved in research. We have just under 21,000 patients over the two practice sites, supported by a very experienced and highly skilled clinical team of Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, HCAs, Pharmacists, Social Prescribers, and Care Coordinators, along with an excellent administration team.
Job Purpose: The Business Manager provides senior operational and strategic leadership for Bretton Park Healthcare. The role is responsible for translating the Partners' strategic objectives into effective operational delivery, ensuring the practice is financially sustainable, compliant, and well-positioned for future challenges within NHS primary care. The Business Manager will act as the senior non-clinical executive, leading governance, finance, estates, workforce, and system working in collaboration with the Partners, Management Team, PCN, and ICB. NHS experience is desirable but not essential.
