Weighbridge Operative

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join Brett Aggregates as a Weighbridge Operative at our aggregate recycling site at Hithermoor, Staines. You will operate the weighbridge and be the first point of contact for hauliers and customers coming to the site.

You'll have a hands-on role, and you will be integral in ensuring a positive culture and be able to have a real impact on site’ activities and performance.

About Your Role

• Responsible for the efficient and accurate running of the Weighbridge function




• A front facing role where you will represent the site and the company to our customers and hauliers




• Operate the site weighbridge in line with company policies, procedures and legislation




• Ensure accurate record keeping in line with business and legislative requirements




• Work closely with other departments (e.g. sales and transport functions) to support the business needs




• To follow and enforce site acceptance procedures for imported materials

We're Looking For

• Previous weighbridge experience (desirable but not essential).




• Good IT skills and confidence using computer-based systems.




• Strong numeracy and literacy skills with excellent attention to detail.




• Effective planning and organisational abilities.




• Good communication and interpersonal skills.




• A flexible and dependable approach to work.




• An understanding of Health & Safety responsibilities and the importance of maintaining a safe working environment.
