With over 60 sites and 700+ employees, Brett Group is known for quality, innovation, and growth. At our Barrow Upon Soar site, we’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) to keep our plant and facilities running at their best.
The Role
As a Maintenance Shift Engineer, you’ll:
- Ensure plant and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
- Minimise downtime while upholding safety and cleanliness.
- Deliver engineering solutions and cost-effective repairs.
- Support production and maintenance teams to exceed targets for performance, quality, and safety.
- Record all work using the CMM system.
- Drive continuous improvement and SHE compliance.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- A time-served apprenticeship and NVQ Level 3 qualification (minimum).
- Proven experience in a similar environment.
- Strong fault-finding skills and knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Experience with TPM/PPM systems and Siemens / Allen Bradley controls.
- Good IT skills (Excel, Word, Access).
- A collaborative, team-focused approach.
