About The Role

We are currently seeking a Site Manager for our land based quarry, recycling and landfill operation at Shrubland and Barham Quarry. Reporting to the Area operations manager you will take an active role in the day to day running of these operations. You will guide the team as you strive for operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • To manage day to day activities on site with an eye for further improvement and forward planning.
  • To take a hands on approach to all activities on site adding strong leadership throughout.
  • To contribute to a positive SHEQ culture and set standards for your team to follow.
  • To build and maintain effective relationships with customers and colleagues in the commercial and transport team.
  • Support the sites to ensure maximum flexibility so people and plant achieve their maximum performance.

Qualifications

  • An experienced team leader wishing to build on their career and have a real impact on the sites.
  • A team player that is as comfortable in an office environment as well as out on site emerging themselves in the operation.
  • Somebody who thrives on pressure and motivates others.
  • A manager with experience completing site records to be fed into the management accounts.
  • A self motivating individual who takes ownership of their responsibilities and thrives to be the best they can be.
