Base Location: Newquay
Salary: From £24,336 - £27,011 depending on skills and experience and working hours - Time Incentive Management (TIM) Bonus Scheme, Call out payments plus a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm. Overtime available for those who want it.
Enerveo is one of the UK’s leading Highways Electrical contractors, delivering full-service street lighting and highway electrical solutions for local authorities and infrastructure partners. With expertise in lighting design, installation, project management, maintenance and the integration of smart technologies, we manage over one million street lights across the UK and help towns and cities become safer, smarter, greener and more efficient.
What will I be doing in this role?
- Replacing or installing new street lighting apparatus and furniture, including street light columns, signposts or traffic signal poles.
- Operating a Hiab crane to load and unload materials.
- Excavating and re-instating the highway to streetworks specifications.
- Completing on-site risk assessments and setting up traffic management for the site.
- Ensuring we deliver outstanding service to our clients and the general public.
- Working to strict safety guidelines and regulations.
What do I need to be successful in the role?
- Happy working outdoors all year round.
- Full UK Driving Licence as we cover a wide range of locations.
- Able to operate plant and machinery safely.
- A background in working in Civils.
- Willing to participate on the on-call rota to attend emergencies out of hours.
- Able to use a hand-held tablet to receive jobs and log repair reports.
Some of our nice to haves are:
- Experience in public lighting, highways maintenance, or infrastructure works.
- Hiab crane training.
- HGV Licence.
- Understanding of electrical safety on site.
- Streetworks qualifications.
