Base Location: Exeter
Salary: From £34,337 to £39,497 depending on skills and experience, plus a Time Incentive Management (TIM) Bonus Scheme and a range of other benefits.
Working Pattern: Permanent, Full Time, Monday to Friday, 42 hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining street lighting infrastructure including streetlights, signs, subways and lamp changes, visual inspections, and electrical testing.
- Carrying out electrical connections to new street lighting infrastructure.
- Diagnosing faults and performing repairs.
- Ensuring outstanding service delivery to clients and the general public.
- Operating a mobile elevated working platform (MEWP).
- Attending the emergency standby rota, being on call for emergency callouts Monday to Sunday.
- Working to strict safety guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Electrical background with a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent work experience and competence.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weathers throughout the year.
- Comfortable working at heights, including operating a MEWP above 12 m.
- Full UK driving licence.
Nice to Haves:
- IPAF/PASMA working at heights training.
- Knowledge of the 18th Edition.
- AM2, City and Guilds 2391 qualification.
- Completion of a G39 Electrical Safety training course.
- HGV Class 2 licence.
