Technical Operator in the Foamalux Department at Brett Martin Ltd.
Location: 24 Roughfort Road, Brett Martin Ltd.
Shift Patterns / Responsibilities
- Essential duties include operating production equipment under the following shift patterns:
- Various shift patterns, including 12‑hour shifts on a rotating day and night schedule.
- 2‑Set Pattern: 4×12‑hour shifts back‑to‑back – either Mon – Thurs or Tues – Fri.
- 4‑Set (Continental) Pattern: 12‑hour shifts rotating between 4 days and 3 days each week. Every other weekend.
Required Criteria
- Minimum of 2 years in a technical/mechanical role
- Good manual dexterity skills
- Proactive in solving technical/process issues
- Clear understanding of performance targets
- Familiarity with day‑to‑day activities (housekeeping, H&S, recycling, energy efficiency)
Desired Criteria
- Technical qualification in mechanical or production engineering
- Familiarity with plastics processing and extrusion experience
- Experience in TPM, preferably in a continuous processing environment
- Shift work experience (including nights and weekends)
