Technical Operator in the Foamalux Department at Brett Martin Ltd.

Location: 24 Roughfort Road, Brett Martin Ltd.

Shift Patterns / Responsibilities

  • Essential duties include operating production equipment under the following shift patterns:
  • Various shift patterns, including 12‑hour shifts on a rotating day and night schedule.
  • 2‑Set Pattern: 4×12‑hour shifts back‑to‑back – either Mon – Thurs or Tues – Fri.
  • 4‑Set (Continental) Pattern: 12‑hour shifts rotating between 4 days and 3 days each week. Every other weekend.

Required Criteria

  • Minimum of 2 years in a technical/mechanical role
  • Good manual dexterity skills
  • Proactive in solving technical/process issues
  • Clear understanding of performance targets
  • Familiarity with day‑to‑day activities (housekeeping, H&S, recycling, energy efficiency)

Desired Criteria

  • Technical qualification in mechanical or production engineering
  • Familiarity with plastics processing and extrusion experience
  • Experience in TPM, preferably in a continuous processing environment
  • Shift work experience (including nights and weekends)
