Job Description

Location: Brett Martin Daylight Systems, Sanford Close, Aldermans Green Industrial Estate

To provide a welcoming and professional experience for visitors and callers, while delivering efficient administrative support across the business. This dual role ensures smooth day-to-day operations and contributes to a positive workplace environment.

Responsibilities

  • Reception Duties:
    • Greet visitors and customers in a courteous and professional manner
    • Manage incoming calls, emails, and postal correspondence
    • Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area
    • Coordinate visitor sign-in procedures and issue passes
    • Liaise with couriers
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures for visitors
  • Administrative Support:
    • Prepare and distribute internal communications and documents
    • Book meeting rooms and manage room calendars
    • Maintain office supplies and place orders when necessary
    • Assist & support other departments with ad hoc tasks
    • Update internal contact lists and directories
    • Assist with onboarding new staff (e.g., issuing access cards, welcome packs)
    • Help organise company events or meetings
