Job Description
Location: Brett Martin Daylight Systems, Sanford Close, Aldermans Green Industrial Estate
To receive, book in and distribute all inbound goods. To understand the requirements of, and support the material movements within the business; specifically the safety, supply and control and consistency of materials to all departments, on time and in full. The role will be a 50/50 split on working inside and outside. You will also be expected to be able lift and carry up to 25kg using the correct manual handling techniques.
About The Role
- Daily recording of all goods received on internal EPOS system.
- To accurately document all goods inwards entries to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Communication of all goods received with relevant departments
- Oversee all merchandising of goods received
- Liaising with purchasing staff to ensure all goods inwards match purchase orders created.
- Liaising with accounts department to ensure all goods inwards match corresponding supplier invoices.
- Manage supplier returns in a timely and efficient manner.
- Establish and maintain good communication to ensure all branch staff adhere to goods inwards policies.
- To work closely with management to ensure that the capabilities of the EPOS system are fully utilised
