We are seeking a proactive and skilled electrical bias with mechanical experience Engineer to join our dedicated Maintenance team at our Poole site covering a permanent day shift of 45 hours per week. Start / Finish times negotiable. In this vital role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting the overall efficiency of our operations. About Your Role

  • Carry out the maintenance and improve all fixed plant and facilities on the BLBP site; assist in the preventative maintenance to ensure maximum availability, performance and quality.
  • Work in a safe manner and ensure all plant is kept in a safe working condition.
  • Assist with managers and team leaders in the development and implementation of SHE policy and procedures in order to achieve an excellent safety record with the aim of eliminating SHE accidents and incidents.
  • Assist with managers and team leaders in order to operate and maintain plant so as to produce product at world class levels of performance, quality and cost.
  • Build and maintain effective relations both within the local manufacturing teams, and with non-manufacturing colleagues to ensure excellence in terms of customer service.
  • Support the Site to ensure maximum flexibility so ensuring that all equipment achieves its performance, availability and quality targets.

We’re looking For

  • Qualified electrical bias engineer with mechanical skills.
  • Strong manufacturing experience / lean manufacturing.
  • Strong SHE awareness focused on achieving an accident-free workplace and reducing the team/process impact on the environment.
  • Ability to work productively to agreed quality standards with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively and build relationships as a member of a team.
  • Ability to identify, communicate and participate in improvement activities relating to all aspects of team performance.
