About The Role
Are you ready to build a career with one of the leading names in the construction materials industry? Brett Aggregates is looking for a Flexible Operative to join our Asphalt team. This is a hands‑on role where safety, quality, and customer service come first.
About Your Role
- Supporting the safe and efficient operation of our asphalt sites in line with HSEQ legislation.
- Operating mobile plant and equipment to ensure smooth production and stock control.
- Assisting with the care and maintenance of fixed and mobile plant, buildings, and site equipment.
- Taking samples of raw and finished materials to maintain quality standards.
- Operating the weighbridge in compliance with the Weight & Measures Act 1985.
- Engaging professionally with customers, drivers, and site visitors.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and site presentation.
We\’re Looking For
- Technical awareness and understanding of material specifications.
- Experience operating mobile plant and weighbridge systems.
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach.
- Good standard of Maths and English.
- Willingness to work flexibly and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of SHE legislation and waste management.
- Experience in asphalt plant maintenance and production.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ 2, QCF 3, WAMITAB) desirable.
