About the Role

Play a key role in our day‑to‑day operations, assisting the Purchase and Sales Ledger team with everything from registering invoices to reconciling supplier statements whilst studying your AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting throughout the course of your 18‑month apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Finance Shared Services Manager.
  • Assist the team with a range of administrative tasks and provide general support in the day-to-day running of Brett Aggregates Ltd.
  • Register invoices on the company financial system IFS.
  • Reconcile suppliers’ statements.
  • Provide cover to sales and purchase ledger team as and when required.
  • Respond to email and telephone inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • Team player with ability to support others.
  • High levels of accuracy and numeracy.
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively.
  • Good competency in Microsoft Office applications – especially Excel and Word.
  • Clear and effective communicator.
  • Achieved GCSEs in Maths and English, grade 4 (C) or above.
