About The Role

Are you a forward-thinking individual with experience in providing assistance in system problem resolution, user support and managing issues, logs and processes within a group-wide role? We’re currently looking for a Group IS Application Technical Analyst who will support key group-wide information systems, resolve issues and provide continuous improvement to functions and processes. This is a full-time permanent opportunity based at our Canterbury head office. You’ll be someone who enjoys working closely with key internal contacts, senior stakeholders and key project representatives to understand business needs and provide solution-based approaches in the delivery of system initiatives.

What you’ll do as Group IS Applications Support Analyst:

  • Maintain, develop and customise solutions within IFS Applications including IFS Developer Studio.
  • Configure and enhance system components including forms, menus, functions and reports to support business requirements.
  • Build and maintain system integrations using IFS Connect, APIs and web services (SOAP/REST).
  • Create reports and analytics using IFS BI, Crystal Report or SQL-based reporting tools.
  • Provide day-to-day application support, working to resolve user queries and managing support tickets in a timely manner.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot system issues and errors, identifying root causes and implementing fixes.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing and system testing, ensuring you prepare test criteria, scripts and documentation.
  • Produce training material and user guides including videos with written documentation.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in supporting or developing enterprise applications, ideally with exposure to IFS Applications (IFS Cloud preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate any issues and make decisions quickly.
  • Solid IT knowledge, particularly around business systems, application support and databases.
  • A background in user access management and systems administration.
  • Experience producing training materials and user documentation and supporting users with system implementation.
  • Knowledge of the heavy building materials, logistics and construction industry (Desirable).
