This vacancy for a Finance Manager in the growing Concrete Division is a great prospect for a proactive and autonomous finance professional who enjoys a high level of ownership and broad exposure to financial processes and stakeholders. You will be working within a well-established group that offers fantastic opportunities for development and progression.
As the key contact for the business, your role will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and reports, including the provision of commentary of business performance against Budget, Forecast and Prior Year.
- Maintaining balance sheet control through up-to-date balance sheet reconciliations.
- Collaborating with the relevant business managers to produce and analyse annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
- Supporting a successful external audit process.
- Identifying and initiating continual improvements in team’s methods of working.
- Providing support to the Financial Controller with other requests / ad-hoc projects.
We are looking for:
- A Qualified member of ACA / CIMA / ACCA with 4 years minimum management accounts experience obtained within product related business, ideally manufacturing, production, distribution or logistics.
- A driven professional who wants to take ownership of the monthly/quarterly/annual reporting processes.
- A curious process thinker who has the ability to interrogate systems, analyse data and produce insightful information which can be used to improve business performance.
- A natural problem solver who can plan ahead whilst also being hands on to ensure the timely delivery of the monthly reporting.
