Are you an experienced sales/customer service professional looking for your next opportunity? A very exciting opportunity has become available to join our Brett Concrete sales team, where you'll be responsible for building long lasting relationships with our key customer accounts and managing the client journey from enquiry through to invoice. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has exceptional attention to detail, can work well in a fastâpaced environment and is confident on the phone liaising directly with customers. This is a fullâtime, permanent role based at our Aylesford office. Due to the nature of our clientele and operating hours, the position operates on a shift rota. Shifts run Monday to Friday (7:30â16:00), (8:00â16:30), or (8:30â17:00), with occasional Saturday shifts from 7:30â11:00 (1 in 6 Saturdays) on a rota basis.
What You'll Do As An Internal Sales Representative
- Be the first point of contact to our customers and facilitate the buying process from enquiry through to invoice.
- Develop key business relationships with internal and external customers to ensure we are the customers' supplier of choice.
- Identify new and existing contacts and proactively engage in telephone calls to generate leads and sales.
- Create contact plans with Customer Service Manager/Field Sales Manager to establish the method and frequency in which you communicate with customers to ensure good, timely & rewarding contact is always maintained.
- Manage key administrative tasks such as quotations, invoices and orders.
- Support Brett's initiatives to provide key Safety, Health and Environmental standards.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent telephone manner and proven experience within a similar sale orientated role.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with an understanding for customer requirements.
- Enthusiasm, flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team is essential.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Computer Literacy, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
