Looking to kick-start a career in recruitment? Bretsa Early Years is looking for a motivated and ambitious Trainee Early Years Recruitment Consultant to join our busy temporary recruitment team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in recruitment and thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. You don’t need previous recruitment experience – we’re looking for the right personality, work ethic and drive to succeed.
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you’ll learn the full 360° recruitment process, from sourcing and registering candidates through to placing them into temporary shifts across nurseries and schools. No two days are the same. You’ll be speaking to candidates throughout the day, building relationships, managing availability and working quickly to fill bookings – including those last-minute requests that make a temporary recruitment desk so fast-moving.
What you’ll be doing:
- Sourcing and attracting Early Years candidates
- Speaking to candidates and conducting initial screening
- Registering new candidates and guiding them through the recruitment process
- Managing compliance and ensuring all required documentation is completed
- Building strong relationships with candidates
- Managing candidate availability
- Matching and placing temporary staff into nursery and school shifts
- Working closely with the wider recruitment team to fill daily bookings
- Managing multiple priorities and working to deadlines
- Delivering a high level of service to both candidates and clients
Who are we looking for?
You’ll need to be confident, hardworking and highly organised, with the ability to think on your feet and juggle multiple tasks at once. You’ll be someone who enjoys talking to people, isn’t afraid to pick up the phone and has the energy and determination needed to succeed in a busy recruitment environment. Strong attention to detail is essential, particularly when dealing with candidate compliance and safeguarding requirements. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who wants more than just a job. We want someone who is keen to learn, develop and build a successful career in recruitment.
Working Hours:
This is a fully office-based position, Monday to Friday, working on a rotating shift pattern: 7:00am – 4:30pm, 8:30am – 6:00pm.
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 plus uncapped commission.
