About the Role We're looking for an experienced Area Manager who can hit the ground running and oversee the smooth running of our nurseries. This is a key leadership role, responsible for supporting Nursery Managers, driving high standards, and ensuring both operational and business success across multiple sites. What We Offer • Competitive salary up to £55,000 • Pension scheme and staff benefits • Free/on-site parking • Birthday off • Additional annual leave accrued with length of service • Supportive leadership team and professional development opportunities • The chance to shape and grow a group of nurseries making a real difference for children and families Key Responsibilities • Lead, support, and performance-manage Nursery Managers and their teams • Ensure consistent compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations • Drive occupancy, budgets, and operational efficiency across settings • Maintain Ofsted readiness and deliver strong inspection outcomes • Build and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents, and external partners • Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development across nurseries • Contribute to strategic growth and continuous improvement About You • Proven leadership experience in early years as an area/regional manager • In-depth knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted requirements • Strong organisational and financial management skills • Excellent communicator with the ability to inspire and support managers and teams • Passionate about delivering high-quality childcare and education Qualifications & Experience • Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5/6 preferred) • At least 5 years' experience in nursery/childcare leadership • Multi-site experience
