WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN INDIVIDUALS
- Qualified / Part Qualified Accountant with experience in an accountancy practice
- Dynamic client and people skills
- Outgoing personality, with a real desire to help people and clients
- Knowledge of cloud‑based accounts systems, such as Xero, Sage, etc.
- Ability to manage own workload and work both independently and as part of the team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to process information accurately
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with a client portfolio to help them with their annual and monthly accounts
- Produce and submit VAT returns, Corporation Tax and Self‑Assessment returns
- Liaise with clients to build relationships and ensure statutory deadlines are delivered effectively
- Provide client advice in an accurate, appropriate, and timely manner
- Help clients with other services, e.g., payroll, annual returns, forecasts, and business plans
- Review the work of team members and coach them to ensure accurate and timely delivery
- Opportunities to attend network events to promote the business and for personal development
