Please note this is a Secondment / Fixed term role until 31 March 2028. We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated professional to work across both councils, supporting our response to Local Government Reorganisation (LGR).
You will:
- Co-ordinate and contribute to the delivery of the LGR Programme.
- Act as project manager for LGR projects.
- Act as a key point of contact for the council, facilitating co-ordination of LGR activities and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain awareness of national policy and best practice relating to LGR.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform decision-making.
- Present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Support senior leaders with briefings, reports, and presentations.
