Technical Officer position in Brentwood, Essex, England, UK.
Permanent Position (37 hours per week)
Grade D (SCP19 - 23) per annum

The Technical Officer will be working with the Technical Analyst to provide the first line and first-class Technical Service Desk using great customer skills supported by technical knowledge. You will be a key part of the delivery of our Digital Data and Technology services.
Brentwood and Rochford Councils have joined forces to create One Team for two Councils. Working in the Councils' IT Team and moving towards an integrated One Team, you will be exposed to a wide variety of technologies, challenges, and opportunities to upskill. Acting as an ambassador for the Team, you will contribute to the effective delivery of the Councils' Digital Strategies and improve the Customer and Employee experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft technologies and ITIL would be advantageous. As the Council continues with the transformation agenda, this job role will continue to evolve to fit into the new working practices of the organisation.
