We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Executive to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a proactive sales role focused on converting quotations into orders, developing customer relationships, and maximising sales opportunities. This position is ideally suited to someone with a proven telemarketing and telesales background in office-based sales.

The Role

  • Working closely with our sales team, you will be responsible for following up customer quotations, identifying sales opportunities, overcoming objections, and helping drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively contact customers by telephone and email following the issue of quotations.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and purchasing contacts.
  • Identify opportunities to convert quotations into confirmed orders.
  • Understand customer requirements and address objections professionally.
  • Gather market intelligence regarding pricing, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity updates.
  • Work towards agreed quotation conversion and sales targets.
  • Produce regular reports on pipeline activity and conversion performance.
  • Support continuous improvement of sales processes and customer engagement.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an internal sales, telesales or telemarketing environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets or conversion objectives.
  • Strong telephone sales and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercially minded with the confidence to influence buying decisions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisational and IT skills, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and target driven.

Ideal Candidate
