Brentwood Borough Council and Rochford District Council have an exciting opportunity for the recruitment of a Project Manager (LGR Transition). We are seeking a highly skilled and self‑motivated professional to work across both councils, supporting our response to Local Government Reorganisation (LGR).
Responsibilities- Co-ordinate and contribute to the delivery of the LGR Programme.
- Act as project manager for LGR projects.
- Act as a key point of contact for the council, facilitating coordination of LGR activities and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain awareness of national policy and best practice relating to LGR.
- A strategic thinker with a strong background in project management, research and engagement.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and inspire.
- Politically astute and confident working in a complex, fast‑paced environment.
- Skilled in project management, data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration.
