Job Title: Enforcement Officer (Licensing and Planning)
We are seeking to appoint an Enforcement Officer (Licensing and Planning) within the Chief Executive’s directorate. The main responsibilities include:
- Enforcing planning regulations and investigating breaches of planning permissions.
- Investigating complaints and conducting spot checks.
- Preparing reports based on findings and issuing notifications to relevant parties when necessary.
- Ensuring that premises and businesses in the Ribble Valley comply with the Licensing Act 2003.
Candidates should be proficient in IT, have a methodical and conscientious approach, and possess strong communication skills for engaging with the public both in person and in writing. A full driving license and access to a vehicle are required.
