  • Provide swimming instruction to children and adults as per our agreed programme.
  • Carry out lifeguarding duties when not teaching.
  • Be a team player.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • ASA/STA Level 2 Swimming Teaching Certificate.
  • Current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.

Working arrangements

  • The role is 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (no weekend work).
  • Earliest start: 9:00. Latest finish: 19:00. The same pattern each week for each term, but timings may vary within these hours from term to term.
  • There will be a 30 minute meal break each day where shifts exceed 6 hours.

Additional information

  • An enhanced DBS check will be undertaken once an offer of employment is made.
  • Any offer of employment will be subject to a practical assessment.
