Academy Education Tutor (Part‑Time)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Academy Education Tutor to support students in their academic journey, providing personalised instruction and guidance. The role requires a passion for education, strong commitment to student success, and competency in tracking learners’ progress, high‑level communication with stakeholders, and SEND.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality tutoring sessions to students of various ages and educational backgrounds.
- Prepare engaging, structured lesson plans tailored to each student’s level, goals, and curriculum requirements.
- Apply diverse teaching techniques and adapt approaches to meet individual learning styles.
- Regularly evaluate students’ progress and learning outcomes through assessments.
- Maintain up‑to‑date tracking of all learners, updating the education department and stakeholders on progress.
- Be available to work as an evening tutor for the YDP at least once a week.
- Track hybrid learners’ progress and liaise promptly with schools.
- Plan curriculum and lesson plans to deliver challenging and engaging lessons as part of the BTEC / SEP education courses.
- Provide ongoing feedback to learners and parents within the Premier League’s 6‑Week Review Cycle.
- Attend MDT meetings, contributing relevant information to the wider education department.
- Maintain high‑level communication with stakeholders regarding learner progress, punctuality, and attainment.
- Demonstrate flexibility, empathy, and adaptability to the football calendar and scheduling demands.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher and Learning Status (QTLS).
- Undergraduate degree level or higher.
- Experience in safeguarding and protecting children.
- Competence in SEND.
- High‑level planning and communication skills.
