Brentford FC Community Sports Trust is seeking passionate and dedicated Football Coaches to join our team. The role involves leading the U18 Girls Junior Premier League team, developing talent, and promoting sportsmanship and teamwork within the community.

The candidate will be required to work a combination of 2 midweek evenings to accommodate training sessions and a Saturday fixture.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality coaching sessions for girls of varying age groups within our Girls’ Emerging Talent Centre.
  • Lead team selection and match day for the team playing in the Junior Premier League.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment that encourages participation and personal development.
  • Identify and nurture talented players, providing pathways for progression.
  • Work collaboratively with other coaches and support staff to ensure a consistent and holistic approach to player development.
  • Monitor player development and support players within their groups.
  • Produce written Individual Development Plans for all players within the age group.
  • Help with the player selection process, aligning with Talent Identification plans.
  • Access quality assurance and staff training offered by the Trust during the term of employment.
  • Ensure all equipment is available and well maintained.
  • Contribute to the effective delivery of tournaments and events.
  • Report safeguarding concerns promptly to the appropriate authorities or designated personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, concerns and actions taken.

Selection CriteriaEssential
  • Minimum UEFA C Coaching qualification and working towards UEFA B.
  • Previous experience coaching football at grassroots or academy level.
  • FA Safeguarding certificate.
  • FA Emergency Aid certificate.
  • Current DBS.
Desirable
  • UEFA B qualification or above.
  • National Goalkeepers Course Certificate.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office) / IT skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to car.
  • Experience in leading female youth football programmes.

  • Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate young players.
  • Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with coaching methodologies.
  • Ability to travel to various workplaces within West London using own transport.
  • Flexible to work outside normal hours including midweek evenings and Saturday fixtures.
