A Physical Therapist opportunity is available in Margate, FL at a 289-bed medical center that holds Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval™ certification, is certified by the Joint Commission as a primary stroke center, is accredited as a chest pain center by the American College of Cardiology, and is recognized as a Comprehensive Bariatric Center of Excellence.
The role.
In this position, you will conduct evaluations and deliver treatment interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional code of ethics, assessing patients' therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status to contribute to the total plan of care.
You will provide purposeful and skilled therapeutic care in the patient's home, applying procedures and techniques designed to produce changes in condition and function consistent with the physician's plan of care.
A key part of the role involves educating patients, families, and caregivers on the use of therapies, exercises, therapeutic appliances, and prosthetic devices for use outside of therapy sessions.
You will also prioritize caseload, determine daily staffing needs, and coordinate assignments and handoffs across the team.
