Base pay range: Salary range: £42,060 - £51,138 p.a. inc. London weighting

Job Details

  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours of work: 36 hours per week
  • Location: Civic centre and other locations from time to time

Responsibilities

  • Complete assessments of potential carers – Connected Persons Fostering assessments, Special Guardianship assessments, and viability assessments.
  • Participate in a duty rota.

About the Person

We are looking for a motivated social worker passionate about working with kinship carers and providing them support and guidance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3 years post-qualifying experience as a Social Worker in a statutory setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good assessment skills and a solid understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Good IT skills and an ability to adapt to changing situations.
