- Location: Civic centre and other locations from time to time
Responsibilities
- Complete assessments of potential carers – Connected Persons Fostering assessments, Special Guardianship assessments, and viability assessments.
- Participate in a duty rota.
About the Person
We are looking for a motivated social worker passionate about working with kinship carers and providing them support and guidance.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3 years post-qualifying experience as a Social Worker in a statutory setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good assessment skills and a solid understanding of relevant legislation.
- Good IT skills and an ability to adapt to changing situations.
