Overview

Come and join our innovative Parks and Allotment Service. Brent is a vibrant London borough where the iconic arch of Wembley Stadium dominates the skyline. It spans both inner and outer London, and is characterised by huge contrasts in terms of its economic, environmental, ethnic and social make‑up. Responsibilities

  • Respond to daily queries about both services via phone and e‑mail.
  • Liaise with sports clubs to arrange bookings of sports pitches.
  • Take minutes for various meetings, including the Borough Safety Advisory Group (who review events in the borough, not for the Stadium).
  • Liaise with allotment holders and arrange requests for payment.
  • Prioritise your workload to ensure urgent issues are resolved quickly and effectively while managing your daily workload.

The Person

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Resourceful and able to prioritise workload.
  • Ability to take minutes of meetings and liaise easily with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Calm under pressure, willing to learn new databases and ideally have experience of raising purchase orders and requesting payment from customers.
