The Post
This position is key to providing efficient, professional and comprehensive business and financial practice management support to Legal Services. It involves organising the effective flow of resources throughout the teams, ensuring appropriate staff allocations, maintaining professional communications with internal and external partners, taking responsibility for all queries and handling them as appropriate, and managing and leading a high‑performance team. The role also supports members of the Service Management Team (SMT) and the Director of Law.
The Person
The person must have excellent organisational skills, be able to manage workload, prioritise and comply with internal reporting deadlines. They will require meticulous attention to detail, the ability to plan, coordinate administrative procedures, understand case management systems and devise ways to streamline processes, develop staff and allocate responsibilities. A solid understanding of effective legal practice management service support or equivalent, Iken case management system and the Lexcel assessment process are required.
