We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join a dynamic and growing Infrastructure Planning Team, in a borough that has an ambitious programme for regeneration and growth that is inclusive and delivers real benefits for its businesses, residents and communities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive contribution to ensure regeneration and growth in the borough is delivered in line with Brent’s Local Plan and Borough Plan priorities through the planning and provision of infrastructure. You will join a team with a wide range of responsibilities, from the administration of CIL/S106 through to the development of a new Infrastructure Delivery Plan.

The Post
We are looking for an officer to assist with the administration of the Community Infrastructure Levy and S106 agreements - with the opportunity to grow into other areas of infrastructure planning. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive contribution to ensure regeneration and growth in the borough is delivered in line with Brent’s Local Plan and Borough Plan priorities through the planning and provision of infrastructure.
The Person
You will demonstrate competency to administer S106 and CIL, a positive can-do attitude, and will take the initiative. This is a career graded post, and so will be suitable for those with direct experience in CIL / S106 administration, those with experience in a related field or recent graduates in a planning related subject. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone starting out in planning or someone who wants to further develop their career in infrastructure planning in this vibrant and diverse borough in north-west London. This permanent post is based at Brent Council’s award-winning offices at the heart of the Wembley Park regeneration and within walking distance of Wembley Park station.
