Overview
In this role you support the Healthy Streets and Parking Team to prepare and implement Traffic Management Orders, enhancing public safety and smooth journeys. You will work with the team to manage traffic and parking schemes, handle notices and objections, and lead on ParkMap usage. The position sits within Brent’s values-driven, inclusive council focused on fair, open public service. You will contribute to shaping safer streets while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful transportation outcomes. Responsibilities
- Assist with permanent and temporary traffic regulation orders and related notices
- Collate and respond to formal objections and representations
- Manage data analysis and interpretation for traffic orders
- Lead on the use of ParkMap software
- Deputise for Team Leader of Traffic Orders as required
Key requirements
- Minimum qualification of HNC, BTEC or equivalent in civil engineering including traffic-engineering
- Knowledge of information technology systems
- Experience using ParkMap
- Practical experience in traffic order making and data analysis
