The Post
We are recruiting an Environmental Health Officer/Enforcement Officer for our Health & Safety Enforcement Team. Responsibilities include health and safety interventions, accident investigations, licensing, and smoke-free enforcement.
The Person
We seek enthusiastic individuals eager to make a difference and contribute to the borough's wellbeing. Opportunities include gaining experience across various commercial settings and participating in high-profile projects. Newly qualified EHOs registered with CIEH EHP pathway are also encouraged to apply.
Requirements include a professional qualification for health and safety interventions (e.g., NEBOSH, Diploma/BSc/MSc in Environmental Health) and registration with EHRB through CIEH. Experience with RIDDOR notifications, health and safety complaints, and enforcement is essential.
