The Post
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Research & Insight Manager to lead and coordinate a diverse portfolio of projects. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing multiple priorities, and is passionate about driving impactful research.
You will advocate for and support research and insight to improve health. You’ll collaborate with a range of stakeholders, building excellent relationships with public health teams and teams across the council and externally that have remit for the wider determinants of health. You will oversee the work of an enthusiastic and committed team of mixed methods analysts, guiding the work to improve the quality of our outputs and our approaches. You’ll provide insight for different audiences including residents, public health and other practitioners, senior management, and other external stakeholders.
The Person
We are looking for someone who:
- Has in-depth understanding of health and its wider determinants and a commitment to tackling health inequalities
- Is an experienced leader who motivates and inspires teams to produce research of the highest quality
- Is a strategic thinker, able to manage multiple projects and build a varied research portfolio
- Brings extensive practical experience of designing, delivering and overseeing qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods health research; and has qualifications to back this experience up.
