At Brent, apprenticeships are a key way we grow local talent and represent our diverse community. This Level 6 Public Health Apprenticeship, delivered with Coventry University, combines academic study with hands-on experience tackling some of the nation’s biggest health challenges, leading to a BSc (Hons) Public Health Practitioner degree.

Based in vibrant Wembley Park, home to Wembley Stadium, Wembley Arena, Boxpark and LDO, this is an exciting opportunity to make a difference locally. Apprenticeships are open to all residents aged 16 and above, whether starting out or changing career.

About the programme

  • Level 6 Public Health Apprenticeship with Coventry University
  • Work-based training plus academic study
  • Leads to BSc (Hons) Public Health Practitioner
  • Includes final assessment: exam, log book and panel interview

Your role

  • Work with communities, the council and partners to improve health outcomes
  • Gain practical skills in health improvement, risk assessment and service delivery
  • Learn from experts using the Public Health Skills and Knowledge Framework (2016)
  • Collaborate across teams, supported by mentoring and protected study time
