The Role
- We are looking for an organised and proactive Administrator to provide high-quality support to the Experts at Hand service, ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of a busy, multi‑agency cluster.
- This is a key role at the centre of the service, acting as the first point of contact for professionals, service providers and stakeholders.
- You will play a vital part in coordinating administrative processes, supporting meetings, managing information and ensuring that systems run efficiently and effectively.
- Act as the first point of contact, managing enquiries via phone, email and post in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing papers and taking accurate minutes.
- Support financial processes, including raising purchase orders, processing payments and maintaining records.
- Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Monitor shared inboxes and ensure queries and actions are responded to within required timescales.
- Liaise with internal teams and external providers, acting as a key link across the service.
- Produce reports and support data collection, including statutory returns.
- Identify and escalates issues, helping to improve administrative processes and service delivery.
