The Audio-Visual team at Brent Council have an exciting opportunity for an Audio-Visual Technician to join the team on a permanent basis. An Audio-Visual technician works closely with multiple teams to deliver a variety of events and services across Brent Council, including events at The Drum Wembley. This role involves hands-on work with the setup and operation of AV event productions, livestreaming committee meetings, digital signage systems, Microsoft Teams Rooms, maintenance of AV systems and responding to requests from stakeholders. The role offers the chance to work with modern AV technologies in a dynamic environment.

The Ideal candidate for the AV Technician role will demonstrate a clear passion for audio-visual technologies, approaching the role flexibly with a positive can-do attitude, while problem-solving and delivering the service to a high standard. The role requires a broad knowledge of Audio-Visual technologies. The candidate will have experience in one of the main AV areas (Sound, Video, Lighting, Networking), ideally within an in-house venue or AV Supplier setting. They will have a commitment to continuous improvement, developing their skills in the other areas. This is a great position for a technician looking to obtain a wider skill set.
