Overview

An exciting opportunity to join Information Governance.

Responsibilities

This post is within the Information Governance Team. The team supports the council with the overall approach to Information Governance (Data Protection, Information Security, Record Management, Information Assurance and Compliance), working collaboratively with internal colleagues, external customers and partners on information related projects alongside processing subject access requests. As a key member of the Information Governance Team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Data Protection Legislation and Information Governance standards, contributing to the delivery of an effective Information Governance service across the organisation. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are required, as you will be interpreting and communicating complex organisational data.

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated individual who is passionate about information governance and compliance. Outstanding organisational, planning and administrative skills, with the ability to manage constantly changing priorities and competing demands to meet deadlines. Ability to work flexibly as part of a busy team, building positive relationships at various levels and bringing enthusiasm, creativity and passion to serve our customers.
