Job Title: Housing Support Worker
Location: Non-residential service based in Brent (near Civic Centre). Support provided at the main office and in the community, including homes.
Salary: £27,000
Shift Pattern: 12-month fixed-term contract, 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday on a rota (08:00-16:00, 09:00-17:00, 10:00-18:00). Flexibility required.
About the role:
This role involves supporting individuals with complex needs on their journey towards recovery, reablement, and independence in a trauma-informed environment. You will deliver person-centered support to vulnerable adults at risk of homelessness, developing tailored support plans, providing practical interventions, and working with partner organizations. Participants include:
- Single homeless individuals aged 18-60
- Socially excluded individuals
- Ex-offenders
- People with substance misuse issues
- Individuals with low to moderate mental health issues
- Individuals with low to medium learning disabilities
About you:
We seek a passionate individual committed to helping others achieve independence, with compassion and a non-judgmental attitude. You should understand the housing support needs of people with complex needs and have experience working with diverse backgrounds. IT proficiency at an intermediate level is required, along with flexibility in working patterns and an understanding of social marginalization.
