About the Role

To contribute to the depot’s Service Delivery and Customer Experience, optimise both fleet and resource assets in delivering product to customer sites. As an integral part of the team, you will ensure company compliance with all transport policies, legislation, and procedures. Identify operational issues, potential problems, and opportunities to improve the service and efficiency of transport operations. You will be dealing with multi-drop deliveries and solving any issues on the road. Handle the dispatches, collections and returns.

Responsibilities and Activities

  • Reviewing the order screens and plan ahead.
  • Pulling forward orders that could be released in advance of delivery day to improve vehicle utilisation.
  • Ensure the plan achieves the defined KPI parameters and respect health and safety of the team and environmental impact of the operation.
  • Dealing with Drivers within a transport office.
  • Ensuring safety standards are met by drivers and vehicles.
  • Work in partnership with wider operation team.
  • Monitoring and reacting to changes, queries, and customer feedback.
  • Supporting to implement new systems.
  • Arranging haylage and managing assigned haulers relevant to the operational site.
