About the Role:

Execute product and purchasing strategy, manage key supplier relations and contracts, conduct product sourcing, and coordinate sales activities, in a country for defined strategic products.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather data on, analyse, and communicate local market conditions for strategic products.
  • Execute product, purchasing and market strategy for strategic products in a country to achieve targeted gross profits.
  • Identify suitable new suppliers for products, build and manage supplier relationships, and negotiate framework contracts.
  • Purchase products or range of products from selected and negotiated supplier portfolio.
  • Negotiate cost price and give non-binding guidelines including selling price.
  • Ensure sustainable availability of products needed in the industry and optimize inventory.
  • Review purchase options for non-exclusive product relationships.
  • May visit larger customers to provide detailed market understanding and coordinates and supports sales channels.
