Overview
As Commercial Manager, you lead Scotland’s end-to-end supply chain, procurement and stock control to drive profitability and EBITDA. You’ll work with operations, sales and product teams to optimise stock availability, supplier performance and commercial opportunities. You’ll lead stock control teams, push continuous improvement and align stock processes with customer service goals while managing working capital. This role offers impact across procurement, inventory and supplier engagement in a cross-functional environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive EBITDA, profitability and budget targets through commercial performance
- Lead end-to-end Scotland supply chain and coordinate stock purchases under contracts
- Oversee stock control and inventory management to meet KPIs and customer demand
- Manage supplier relationships and OTIF delivery performance
- Provide commercial insights to support growth and operational performance
- Support stock availability across the UK network in collaboration with Product Management
- Lead stock procurement and movements across depots and ensure effective stock controls
- Promote continuous improvement and effective stock-related processes
- Prepare regular performance reports and support budget management
- Coach and develop Stock Control teams to enhance capability and accountability
