Our team in London currently has an opening for an Operator - Day Shift, London (6 months Fixed term). As an Operator, day shift, it is your responsibility to:
- Contribute to the safe operational efficiency and effectiveness of the depots OTIF targets by:
- Filling operations as required
- Picking and loading duties as required
- Manual handling yard duties as required
- Fork Lift Operations as required
- Receipt of bulk and packaged chemical deliveries
- Receive deliveries of supplies and ensure safe handling and storage to laid down operational procedures
- Load vehicles of supplies and ensure safe handling and despatch to laid down operational procedures
- Undertake the filling of chemical containers to laid down procedures
- Contribute to the safe handling and storage of chemical products to ensure compliance with legislation and operational requirements
- Pick and build loads to meet customer orders, both by manual handling and by mechanical aids provided
- Contribute to the safe and efficient running of the Yard and warehouses
- Undertake any reasonable task or duties assigned by the line manager/supervisors, related to the role, providing they are within the post holder's skills and abilities.
