We are seeking an Internal Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of tail‑end customers within an assigned BES territory / BSP industry. This role focuses on remote account management, sales development, and lead generation to maximise sales and profitability across bronze, low‑potential, and selected customer segments.
Responsibilities
- Manage, develop, and maintain assigned customer accounts remotely to maximise sales and profit.
- Identify opportunities within existing accounts and support lead generation activities.
- Develop business across bronze and selected customers through range selling, cross‑selling, and value‑based pricing.
- Execute remote sales activities, including preparing proposals, coordinating and negotiating with customers, closing deals, and responding to RFQs.
- Identify high‑potential accounts and define strategies to convert prospects into customers.
- Identify, prioritise, and proactively contact prospective customers.
- Manage customer‑related initiatives and projects as required.
- Maintain accurate records within the CRM system and complete all relevant sales reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective customer service and delivery.
Your Profile
- Experience in internal sales, account management, or customer‑focused roles.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage customers remotely.
- Commercially minded with a focus on sales growth and profitability.
- Well organised with strong attention to detail and CRM usage.
- Experience in water treatment, industrial services, or technical sales is desirable but not essential.
Location: Leeds
Hours: Full‑time, 37 hours per week
Working pattern: Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm, Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
