About the role: The Controlling function provides financial analysis and decision‑making support. The Accountant (Controlling) role will work alongside and provide support to the Business Controllers.
Your responsibilities:
- Financial analysis, KPIs, monitoring and reporting.
- Financial support and interpretation to the business.
- Support and work alongside non‑financial management.
- Strategic and decision‑making models.
- Implementation of strategies.
- Integration and reporting of business acquisitions.
- Business procedures, reporting compliance, controls, and risk assessments.
- Control and preparation of budgets, forecasts and monthly flashes.
- Review and analyse working capital to achieve optimisation.
- Ensure compliance to group Rules of Procedures.
- Evaluation and appraisal of capex and contract approval requests.
Your Skills & Experience:
- Education: Part qualified Accounting Qualification.
- Experience/knowledge: Experience of working on SAP systems (Essential).
- Experience of working within Industry. Chemical Industry experience preferred but not essential.
- Excellent analytical skills & the ability to communicate across business functions.
- Strong knowledge of O365 applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Data management experience preferable.
