About the role:

Reconcile sales ledger receipts, bank statement upload & reconciliation, fleet management, general ad hoc duties

As a Cashbook Assistant, it will be your responsibility to:

  • To organise and prepare payment runs and ad hoc payment requests.
  • Lease system admin
  • Online banking administration
  • Allocation of sales and purchase ledger payments
  • Assisting with organising and reviewing of company car lease agreements.
  • Regular liaison with management and colleagues across all our 16 UK and Ireland depots.
  • Maintaining and developing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
  • Undertaking general administration tasks and providing support across the team when necessary, including some ledger work

Full, clean driving licence a requirement as the role involves management of the company car fleet.

Your skills and experience:

Studying or wanting to study a Financial qualification.

Ideally be of graduate calibre, or have strong accounts / administration experience in a busy office environment.

Have a good working knowledge of MS Excel, including look ups and pivot tables.

Excellent communication skills and a polite, professional and persuasive telephone manner.

A keen eye for detail, including data input/order processing skills.

The ability to work in a fast paced environment.
