We’re recruiting a Domiciliary Care Team Leaderto lead and develop our extra care and community‑based services. Reporting to the Domiciliary Care Registered Manager, you’ll support the delivery of operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and the strategic growth of domiciliary care across our local communities.

This role sits at the heart of Brendoncare’s commitment to integrated care. You’ll work collaboratively across our care homes, primarily from Knightwood while supporting mews apartment services in Alton, Knightwood, Stildon, Otterbourne, and The Old Parsonage, ensuring continuity of care, reducing social isolation, and promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing for the people we support in their own homes. You will also play a key role in delivering integrated services across our care hubs and residential homes, enabling continuity of care, reducing social isolation, and promoting independence, choice, and holistic wellbeing for every individual in our care.

Salary: £32,000 per annum

Hours: 35 hours per week

Required:

  • Level 3 in health and social care
  • Competent in administering medication
  • Clear understanding of safeguarding, care standards and CQC requirements.
  • Experience delivering person-centred care to older adults
  • Experienced in person centred care planning
  • Proven experience supervising and/or leading care staff within across Domiciliary Care services
  • Experience mentoring care staff to upskill and maintain best practice.
  • Strong IT skills, including confident use of digital care systems, Microsoft Office Suite and, e-MAR systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workloads to deliver results whilst remaining able to deal with non-routine and the unpredictable nature of work within a care home setting,
  • Operational Support: Liaising with GPs, social workers, and families to report progress, and handling emergency situations.
  • Rota Coordination
  • Must hold a valid driving licence

Desirable:

  • Care Home Assistant Practitioner (CHaPs) qualification or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of working with people living with dementia
